Crystal is originally from Southern California. She received her B.A. from U.C. San Diego, with a double major in Biochemistry/Cell Biology and Psychology. She did research for the Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA for two years, before attending Northwestern University Dental School. She met John, her classmate, at Northwestern. They were married in John’s hometown of Modesto just three short months after both received their dental degrees. Crystal had her own practice in Modesto for 15 years before merging with John’s practice. She now works in the practice part-time, allowing her to spend more time involved with their son’s school activities. She is a past President of Soroptimist International of Modesto, past Recording Secretary and 6th grade parent representative of Lakewood PTA, and President of La Loma Jr. High PTA (2013-2014).
